Meet the people behind the restoration
About the Team at Riqueday Castle
We’re a virtual-to-local community in Canton, PA restoring Riqueday Castle as a welcoming hub for the Christian community and our wider region—one project, one event, and one relationship at a time.
Our purpose
A sacred center, a community home
Riqueday Castle exists to preserve a meaningful chapel space while building a modern community hub—supported by memberships, sponsorships, and neighbors who want to see Canton thrive.
Our team is focused on practical restoration, transparent stewardship, and programming that serves real needs: community meals, clubs and groups, classes, networking, and space for Christian ministries.
How we work (and what you can expect)
A clear plan, consistent communication, and a commitment to serving people well—online and in Canton.
Step 1
Listen to the community
We gather ideas, needs, and opportunities from members and local partners so the Castle becomes a place people actually use.
Step 2
Restore with stewardship
We prioritize safety, accessibility, and the chapel’s sacred center while planning improvements that make the space useful year-round.
Step 3
Serve with consistency
We build a rhythm of events and services—free and member-supported—so the Castle becomes a dependable community anchor.
Leadership team
We’re a family-and-friends team committed to restoration, community building, and a Christ-centered welcome. (More volunteers and advisors will be added as the project grows.)
